With the accelerated process of global economic integration, the current social production management model also will be a big change, many vocational graduates find it difficult to find a c1 ounterpart. To change this situation, higher vocational colleges should adapt to the requirements of modern market development, carry out the cooperation between schools and enterprises, reform the teaching mode, cultivate the talents with core ability needed by the market.Based on the understanding of the requirement of the core competence of the vocational college students, this paper takes the Hubei Youth Vocational College as an example, and makes a systematic analysis of the present situation of the training of the core competence of the young vocational college students in Hubei Province. Through investigating 2000 students of Hubei Youth Vocational College and interviewing with relevant leaders and teachers, this paper aims to find out the main problems existing in the cultivation of core competence of Hubei Youth Vocational College and find out the main factors that influence the core competence of Hubei Youth Vocational College And puts forward the countermeasures to improve the students' core competence of Hubei Youth Vocational College.etc.According to the investigation of the students' core competence of Hubei Youth Vocational College, it is found that there are some differences in understanding of core competence between male and female students, such as the depth of knowledge,cognition, foresight and so on. It is found that the overall understanding of core competence is better than that of the other two specialties, and there is no significant difference between art design department and information engineering department; the urban students are not satisfied with the core ability to the future The impact of employment on the differences were also significantly higher. The results are related to the living environment, living habits, educational environment and so on. Therefore,higher vocational colleges should pay attention to the gender, specialty and regional differences in the training of students' core competence.The research on the Hubei youth Career Academy students core ability training fea sibility of empirical research to determine to a certain extent,at the same time also in Hu bei Province in the research of cultivating talents in higher vocational colleges with exe mplary role,which clearly analysis the core ability training for higher vocational student s in the existing problems, and further puts forward with strong pertinence and maneuve rability of the countermeasures and Suggestions.
