With the development of economy, the ecological environment is deteriorating day by day. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the citizen's environmental awareness and cultivate the citizen's environmental moral level. History teachers should also contribute their own strength. History teachers should give full play to the function and value of history subject in environmental education to cultivate and strengthen the awareness of environmental protection.The historical discipline contains a wealth of environmental education resources.The idea of environmental protection and the practice of environmental protection are conducive to the popularization of environmental protection knowledge and the realization of the goal of history teaching. Physical and mental characteristics of middle students are conducive to cultivate environmental values and sense of responsibility.The history subject has important value and significance to the development of environmental protection education.Through the actual investigation of teachers and students, the research analyzes the current problems in the environment education of junior high school, Such as history teachers' awareness of environmental protection is weak. In the current junior high school history textbooks, the dominant environmental education resources are relatively scarce. The education strength has not formed a joint force. The effectiveness of environmental awareness training is not high. The examination system led to the lack of environmental protection education. There are many strategies and methods to solve the problems. Such as the history teachers should improve their environmental awareness,and change the concept of teaching. At the same time, history teachers should present teaching material as the basis to fully excavate the contents of environmental education in the textbooks.Teachers should use all kinds of teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness of environmental education. History teachers should organize practical activities to enhance the initiative of students' environmental protection.All in all, the development of environmental protection education is conducive to the cultivation of junior high school students' awareness of environmental protection, to help them establish the correct value orientation of environmental change now, and promote the smooth implementation of the new curriculum reform and improve their consciousness of protect the environment, to help them establish a correct concept of resources, environment and sustainable development, to enable students to truly understand the importance of resources and environment, the coordinated development of economy and society, encouraging students to promote environmental knowledge and cultivate society needed talent, improve the level of environmental protection and the whole society the moral level, and promote the overall social development and progress. My research on this subject will play a part that is called baiting a piece jade with a brick, and I hope more history teachers can conduct a more in-depth study to put forward more effective methods and suggestions for environmental education in junior middle school history.
