Research Based On A Social Work Intervening In The Social Integration Of Suzhou Ethnic Floating Population

Population movement is the inevitable outcome of the development of market economy,and one of the signs of social civilization and progress.With the influences of the reform and opening-up policy and the population flow effect,ethnic population are flowing constantly and living in cities,the problem of social integration of urban ethnic floating population has gradually become a hot issue in the society.The phenomenon of their social integration concerns not only their development,but also national relation.Scholars have a lot of discussion on the phenomenon of social integration of urban ethnic floating population,but the method of social work is still relatively new,it is a new issue.Social work intervene in the phenomenon of social integration of urban ethnic floating population can not only enrich the content of vulnerable groups and promote the social work theory and practice of localization,but also find new ways and new methods to improve the degree of social integration.This paper takes Suzhou ethnic floating population as research object and analyzes their general information,current situation and causes of social integration,and applies social work intervention to table a proposal.This paper synthesized observational method and questionnaire method to gather relevant data.Based on the measurement of the social integration of urban ethnic floating population,the author investigated and analyzed five aspects,including employment situation,adaptation,living condition,social interaction and social support.And there are some problems in the process of their social integration,such as their occupational area is narrow,part of local residents disrespect them,they don't have the fundamental rights of social security,their social interaction is narrow and their social support network is weak.On the basis of the survey,this paper applies social work intervention to deal with the problems in the social integration of Suzhou ethnic floating population,including improving their personal abilities,strengthening the propaganda education,perfecting the related policy system,promoting social interaction and improving the level of service management.The efforts of these five subjects are trying to deal with the problems in the social integration of Suzhou ethnic floatingpopulation and improve their level of social integration,and help them merge into Suzhou better.
