With the gradual advancement of curriculum reform,basic education has been widely concerned by the educational circles.Junior high school biology knowledge points are quite complex,part of the knowledge is abstract.Student lack of interest in learning is an important factor affecting the quality of biology teaching.As a basic course of junior high school,compared with other courses,the most important feature of biology is that the experiment is very strong.The experiment is the basic research method of biology.Therefore,secondary school biology teachers should study the textbooks in depth,cut into from the biological experiment.Through the vivid and wonderful experimental teaching,to stimulate junior high school students' interest in learning biology,improve the overall quality of students.In this paper,through the observation and comparison of the students' learning state and the feedback of the teachers' interviews,we find the problems existing in the teaching of biology in junior middle school:(1)The students' emphasis on biology is generally low.(2)Students lack enthusiasm,initiative and initiative in biology class.(3)The student's biological achievement is generally below the passing line level.In view of the existing problems,combined with the characteristics of biology and psychological characteristics of students,this paper puts forward how to stimulate students' interest in learning biology.After consulting and analyzing the relevant data,we can understand the relevant background of the research.This paper analyzes the present situation of the research at home and abroad,defines the relevant concepts and understands the theoretical basis of the research,followed by the design and implementation of experimental teaching case.This paper takes the students of eight classes in the eighth grade of Affiliated Middle School of Yan' an Vocational and Technical College as the object of study,and takes some of the experiments related to the eighth grade textbook of the junior middle school in Su Ke edition.By analyzing the effect of the experimental teaching case and the results of the questionnaire survey,it was found that:(1)The efficiency of students learning biology knowledge through experiment is obviously higher than that of teaching by teachers.In junior high school biology teaching,through experimental teaching,it can help students understand biological concepts,master biological structure and improve biological achievements.(2)In the experimental class,the classroom atmosphere is active,students' learning interest is generally high.Teachers do not need to find ways to active classroom atmosphere,just occasionally maintain the classroom order,during the course of the experiment,the teacher only needs to mention the point next to the student.(3)The biological experiment teaching can not only cultivate the students' practical ability,but also cultivate students' observation ability,thinking ability,analysis and expression ability.It also can effectively establish students' awareness of cooperation and guide students to life,learning and work better.Biological experiments are a useful tool for students to understand biological abstract concepts,acquire biological knowledge and enhance cooperation and exploration ability.Biological experiment teaching can not only improve the comprehensive ability of the students in all aspects,but also encourage students to carry forward the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts and establish the correct scientific attitude.It also can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning biology.But because not all biological content is suitable for experimental teaching,junior high school biology teachers should actively explore new ideas and new methods to achieve the comprehensive and coordinated development of students.
