| Emotional support is a kind of non-material support behavior,and adolescents’ emotional support emphasizes the spiritual support from parents,teachers and peers.With the development of social and satisfaction of people’s material demand,More and more people pay attention to the needs of adolescents’ emotional support.At present,the domestic and foreign academic research on adolescent emotional support is not common,Most of these studies are about social support,social relations,social networks and other related research.At the end of the twentieth Century,the study of adolescents’ social support began to shift to the emotional support,and fully affirmed the positive role of emotional support in the process of adolescents’ growth and development.Migrant adolescents in Chongqing City are our research object,We us the method of questionnaire survey investigated 682 migrant adolescent about their emotional support characteristics,help-seeking attitude,parents’ occupation,education level,marital status of parents and so on,trying to understand the migrant adolescents’ emotional support level,the influencing factors and the Effect.The study found:①migrant adolescents are less likely to take the initiative to ask for help when they are in trouble.When seeking help,it is most likely to seek support from peers.②adolescents of different grades and school properties(key and common middle schools)have significant differences in emotional support level(P < 0.05);migrant adolescent emotional support level in gender have no significant difference.③the help-seeking attitude of migrant adolescents was significantly correlated with their emotional support level(P < 0.05).④parents of migrant teenagers ‘occupation in the emotional support level does not exist significant differences;the marital status of parents have significant differences in emotional support level(P < 0.05);mother’s cultural level have significant differences in emotional support level(P < 0.05),and the level of father had no effect.⑤the level of emotional support was significantly correlated with the level of mental health.⑥group intervention had some influence on the emotional support of migrant adolescents. |
