Research Of Social Work Involved In The Construction Of Peer Support System For Migrant Children

Migrant children refer to the children of rural migrant workers who are brought by their parents to live and receive better education in the cities.The “mobile” special environment often puts migrant children in a marginal position,making the process of social integration and socialization of migrant children relatively difficult.Migrant children in school age are the golden age of physical and mental development.They can achieve personal socialization through the interaction between peer groups.Therefore,this article will investigate the current situation of migrant children,and grasp the problems and needs of social support and peer interaction of migrant children in the L community.Based on the theory of group socialization,group dynamics and social support,and the characteristics of migrant children,choose the mutual aid group model as the dominant model and define the group goals.According to the ice-breaking stage,development stage,maturity stage,and ending stage of the group development,social worker designed and implemented seven group activities to improve peer support for migrant children.In the end,the main analysis content is the changes of the process,effectiveness of the group activity,and changes of the group members.The article is mainly divided into three parts,and designed in five chapters.The first part is the preparation for research,including chapters 1 and 2.It mainly summarizes the research background,related concepts,research ideas and the necessity and feasibility of the research.The second part is research subject,including the third chapter,which elaborated the process of group work involved in the construction of the support system for peers of migrant children.The third part is the conclusion of the study,including chapters 4 and 5.It evaluates the role of social work in the construction and operation of the peer support system for migrant children,and summarizes and reflects on the research.Summarizing the intervention process,the following conclusions can be drawn: First of all,through the analysis of the changes in the group members and the effectiveness of the group,it is concluded that the peer support system can support and 0help the social development of migrant children and make up for the lack of some of their social support systems.Secondly,the social work professional concept has a unique perspective on participating in the construction of a peer support system for migrant children.The social work professional skills are more operable and effective in building a benign interactive peer support system.Finally,based on the reality of migrant children,the article reflected on the reality and limitations of social work intervention.The peer support system has a positive effect on the socialization of migrant children,but the realization of normal socialization still requires families,schools,society and other aspects' support and collaboration.
