Inquiry teaching is a kind of active ways of teaching,students’ interest in learning can be stimulated if this teaching methods is applied in the process of teaching,it can respect students’ subjectivity and cultivate the students’ ability of autonomous learning and innovation.However,nowadays the inquiry teaching in middle school teaching are mostly in an embarrassed situation which is in name only,it make the effectiveness of teaching greatly reduced,and even destroyed the rigor of physics itself and the students’ ability of exploration.Therefore,how to set up an effective application way of exploratory teaching,it becomes a problem that urgent need to solve in the physics teaching.Based on the analysis of inquiry teaching theory,the article combined with the actual situation of junior middle school physics teaching in yunnan province and raised the effective strategy of inquiry teaching which is fit for physics teaching of yunnan province.The main work is as follows:Based on detailed analysis and study of inquiry teaching theory,I excavate the characteristic or possible problems in the implementation process of inquiry teaching fully,at the same time,generalize and summarize the practical characteristic and theory of inquiry teaching.Based on the the practical characteristic and theory of inquiry teaching,combined with the actual situation of junior middle school physics teaching in yunnan province and made a survey about the teaching current situation and effectiveness of inquiry teaching by two ways that questionnaire survey and interview.The results of survey showed that teachers are rarely make inquiry teaching applied in their teaching process and the effectiveness is bad even pay for their whistle though they accept inquiry teaching on theory highly.I get that the effective implement of inquiry teaching is related to the proper application of teaching methods,the elaborate design of teaching process and the learning situation of students closely by analyzing its basic reason.On the basis of the analysis of the results of questionnaire and interview,choose difficult point in teaching which got from survey and designed the three inquiry-based teaching cases about “atmospheric pressure ","Archimedes principle" and “the concept of arm”,In the process that case designed,make analysis,self-examination and summary about the reason of using inquiry teaching method,the procedure of the teaching design,theoretical basis of every step and the expected teaching problems.In order to test the effectiveness of inquiry teaching strategy,the teaching effect had been analised based on experimental research methods.The designed case is applied to the teaching of experimental class and compared the teaching effect with conventional teaching methods that in comparative class,The comparison results showed that the score of experimental class is higher than comparative class,and it is 7.6 marks.And the number of students to present and solve the problems by themselves is more than 30% that of comparative class.That illustrated the inquiry teaching can effectively improve the teaching effect when it is truly applied in the teaching process.
