The “scientific inquiry” has become the main theme in the field of the contemporary international basic science education during the new curriculum reform.As an important direction of curriculum reform,Inquire teaching has been implemented to 15 years.What effective has the inquire teaching gained during the 15 years is worth investigating and solving for us.The effectiveness of the junior middle school physics inquiry teaching will influence the realization of the three-dimensional goals directly and affect the formation of the students' scientific literacy.Thus,the study of the present implementation situation of the inquire teaching will help to implement inquiry teaching effectively,and to realize the students' all-round development and teachers' professional development.Based on the theoretical analysis?literature research and the research achievements of predecessors,the author has compiled the teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire by her own.The junior middle school physics teachers and the students are selected from the city of Zhengzhou as the research object of the physics subject,and the 33 teachers and 240 students were randomly selected for questionnaire asking.In order to make up for the shortage of the questionnaire,the author has compiled a teacher interview outline,and interviewed four junior middle school physics teachers randomly.Through the analysis of the data and the contents of the interviews,the conclusions can be these:(1)The idea of inquiry teaching is recognized by the most of teachers,and teachers' understanding of inquiry teaching has been promoted from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge.But due to the influence of some factors,most teachers still use the traditional teaching methods in classes,only a few teachers may insist on inquiry teaching mostly in high-quality lessons or teaching contests.(2)From the two views about the teachers and the students development,the effectiveness of the implementation of inquiry teaching in junior middle school physics class has come to the medium level.Through the analysis of the differences of the questionnaire data,the author finds that the effectiveness of the inquiry teaching exists certain differences in gender,in the process of inquiry teaching,men's effectiveness of teaching and effectiveness of learning are higher than women's;The effectiveness of the inquiry teaching is different through different schools,the effectiveness of the key school's inquiry teaching is higher than ordinary school's;And the effectiveness of the inquiry teaching is not significantly different in such factors as education,job title,and teaching age.According to the research conclusions developed from the study,the author may put forward some teaching suggestions,that is,teachers should understand students,clarify the students' demands,optimize the designs of teaching during the teaching processes,strengthen students' interest,in these ways above can teachers improve the effectiveness of the teaching.Meanwhile,the author also suggests that teachers should take independent self-examinations to raise their professional qualities.
