Temporary Curriculum Standard for Kindergarten issued by “Educational Department” in 1929,opening a new era of curriculum standard for kindergarten of Taiwan.With the progress of the times and the vigorous development of preschool education,this curriculum standard has revised for six times,including the first revision in 1932,the second revision in 1936,the third revision in 1953,the fourth revision in 1975,the fifth revision in 1987 and the sixth amendment in 2012.A long time before 2012,kindergarten of Taiwan education and teaching has been used Curriculum Standard for Kindergarten issued in 1987,in 2012,Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities issued by “Department of Education”in Taiwan.From then on,the file has replaced the Kindergarten Curriculum Standard in1987,officially becoming the current reference basis of designing and planning courses and teaching of Taiwan's kindergarten.This article,adapting comparative and analytic research methods,combs the development context of curriculum standard for kindergarten of Taiwan,completely analyses and discusses the backgrounds and development process,main contents,characteristics and enlightenment to curriculum standard for Kindergarten in Mainland of Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities.Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities is a product of politic,economy,society and education for four factors in Taiwan.In recent years,Taiwan's political orientation tends to the political democratization and diversification,economy is facing opportunities and challenges brought by economic transition,changes in population structure promote kindergarten curriculum reform,the limitations of previous preschool education policy call for the introduction of new course outline.so,Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities is introduced in order to reflect the characteristics of the new era.and its promulgation is not accomplished overnight,but experienced an empirical research stage,experimental stage,the formation and promotion stage for three stages,and each phase has different tasks and focuses.The development prospect of Taiwan kindergarten is comprehensively described in the Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities,including the following aspects:adhering to the curriculum purpose of "benevolence",specifying a clear meaning and scope of services,pursuing the educational goals of the whole development,persisting in the basic idea of interactive development,making the implementation of the principle with strong operation,it is also planning the children's learning and development field emphatically,namely physical movements and health,cognition,language,sociality,sentiment and beauty for six aspects.and each field contains the domain goals,the domain connotation,and the principles of implementation.By comparative studying the Curriculum Standard for Kindergarten issued in1987 and Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities,the author summarizes its characteristics which is cultural orientation of attaching great importance to the social culture,capability approach of focusing on learning ability ability,emotional orientation of highlighting the emotional experience and reflective perspective of shaping the reflective teachers.Finally,based on the comparison of Temporary Curriculum Guideline of Preschool Activities and the Learning and Developing Guide for 3-6 Year Old Children,the author puts forward to some recommendations for the curriculum standard for Kindergarten in Mainland,they are: integration of resources and learning content in curriculum design,paying attention to social culture and learning ability in curriculum content,focusing on support systems and experiment promotion in curriculum implementation and emphasizing the organic combination of the whole process and reflection in curriculum evaluation.
