Study On The Cultivation Of College Students' Voluntary Spirit

Currently,with the rapid development of social economy,our country has made remarkable achievements in economy area,which attracts worldwide attention.However,while enjoying the economic benefits,spiritual and cultural construction has been neglected.Moreover,with the impact of western cultural values,the predominant value system of our country will be further sapped and damaged.But,volunteerism,which has connotations of Dedication,Fraternity,Mutual-aid and Progress;,is the vigorous sign of our time spirit.Volunteerism is a important feature of our civil society,relates to the development of China's public welfare.It has become an integral component of constructing a harmonious socialist society and building socialism nucleus value system,is of great importance to the development and progress of society.College students,as the mainstay of social voluntary service,remain active in professions of all walks of life.With the extensive development of college students volunteer service,they has contributed significantly to large-scale sporting events in China.Especially,volunteerism has practical significance in purifying the spirit of the society to resist invasion of coldness and encouraging social morality.However,the present college students volunteer service need to be normalized and improved.A series of problems still exist,such as poor understanding of core volunteer spirit,deficits of voluntary service skill,doing service with impure motives and so on.Social morality and long-term mechanism of action can not be formed.Therefore,we need pay more attention to spiritual force behind college student volunteering service to value and support it_What reflect connotation of Dedication,Fraternity,Mutual-aid and Progress,volunteerism carries personal responsibility,and lofty emotion to the whole society and other people further.volunteerism is the embodiment of concept of people-oriented,the heredity of good traditional Chinese culture,the reflection of modern civic spirit and presentation of individual social nature.In the current background of times,we should understand historical significance of volunteerism in depth,which benefits to remolding social morality,and plays an important role in the cultural development of socialism.This thesis regard college students from Xi'an University of Science and Technology and Xi'an Siyuan University as research object,based on the questionnaire,analyze the reason of problems that exist in college student volunteering spirit from the test data.Besides,through the reference of successful experiences of aboard volunteer spiritual mode.making a comparison horizontally and vertically,this thesis will give some suggestions on the issue of which model shall China adopt.
