High school biology curriculum standards encourage students to achieve on the biological concept,principle,understand the regularity during the process of solving practical problems,and use principle and method of biology to participate in social affairs and make personal decisions.The life oriented teaching based on students' life experience can focus on students' living conditions and respect students' subjective status and creative spirit.The construction knowledge in real life situations,to development skills,cultivate correct emotional attitude and values,is a effective strategy.In this study,the life teaching and learning situation of 720 students in grade 1and grade 2 of high school and 39 senior high biology teachers were investigated.Research shows that:1?The current situation of teaching base on life experience:(1)high school biology teachers hold a positive attitude towards life teaching,100% of the teachers think it is necessary to carry out life oriented teaching in biology teaching;(2)high school biology teachers fully understand life education theory.(3)the life oriented teaching has a good environment for the students,76.32% of students have a positive attitude towards of contacting life in biology teaching.(4)students have higher level of life knowledge related to biology.(5)students have a strong desire to participate in extracurricular activities.2?There are still some problems in the implementation of life oriented teaching,such as:(1)lock of depth understanding to life oriented teaching.(2)not enough to contact the actual life during the teaching process.(3)lack of extracurricular activities due to the reasons from the school,limited class hours,and safety factors;(4)use test scores to evaluate the students' learning effectiveness;(5)teaching experience and professional titles are the subjective factors which influence to implement the life oriented teaching;(6)the teaching pressure,limited class hour,poor hardware facilities and so on are the objective factors which influence the life teaching.Based on this study,suggestions to deal with the problems are as follows:strengthen the continuing education of biology teachers,and to improve the professional level of teachers;promote the development of biological teaching resources and fully explore the life teaching resources;adjust the teacher evaluation system;increase class hours,and use small class teaching;education department issuedthe relevant documents,formulate detailed rules for the implementation and evaluation standards.
