The textbooks have been played a key role in the development and construction of all the disciplines,it is the basis and foundation of the career of Teaching Chinese to the students of foreign language,as well,it ensures the outline of teaching Chinese to be put into effect,and greatly affects the quality of teaching and teaching effectiveness.<Easy step to Chinese> is the textbook that designed for foreign students who are learning Chinese language.The textbook is mainly suitable for Chinese learners of primary and secondary schools,and has been extensive used in south America.Based on the domestic and international teaching evaluation theory and evaluation criteria,we evaluated the first,second,third book of <Easy step to Chinese>.The results showed that the materials in the structure arrangement with vocabulary,grammar,and other sections of the framework,content clarity,and includes workbooks and other supporting materials;moderate total vocabulary,level control is more reasonable,but repetition rate is not enough;the text form variety,moderate difficulty;subject to personal information and daily dealings mainly with communicative;grammar easy to difficult,but it is too simple to explain the individual;a variety of exercises,but too few communicative practice;lack of cultural knowledge.During the internship in Peru,We investigated the book from all the aspects.Through the results of the questionnaire we can know that,the respondent are mostly satisfied with the book l,for example,a reasonable amount of vocabulary,the texts are easy to understand,topics varied and practical,grammars are not that complicate,taught Chinese as a whole in focusing on practice,listening,speaking,reading and writing four aspects.But also there are some shortcomings,the translation of the vocabulary is not accurate enough,less the texts are not that interesting,some grammars are difficult but there aren't explanation,communicative practice is not enough,lack of culture area and other issues.Therefore,for the above problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures: Add the property of each word;make all the texts a coherent story;add the communicative practice;and add cultural knowledge.At the same time,the paper also made some recommendations of the compiling and using: strengthening compiling the textbooks of individual countries,for example,in Peru,we can compare the traditional Chinese culture and the Inca culture;set "increase in textbook " section,in order to meet the needs of students at different levels;the use of multimedia,the experience of other materials,to take the essence of dross and so on.We hope that through the analysis and evaluation of this article,we can fully use the textbook and improve the teaching;according to the psychological and personality characteristics primary and secondary students to design the content of the book,in order to strengthen the relevance and interest.
