College counselors are the backbone carrying out political education, as important parts of college teach and management team. August 2004, The Party Central Committee and State Council issued the NO.16 files and emphasized that "Take effective measures to focus on building a high-level counselor team", which fully reflects the attention to counselors of The Party Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao as the core.College counselors' working mechanism, in the broad sense, refers to the organic whole of the work of college counselors to run and change the internal organization of each. In a narrow sense, it is the group of mechanisms for the orderly operation of college counselors works, with counselors'work positioning mechanism, access mechanism, operatating mechanism, management mechanism, and developing mechanism as the main. Throughout the course of seven decades of development, our college counselors work has made considerable progress and got a solid and effective fruitful results. But in recent years with the emergence of new domestic and international situation, the original mode of counselors is difficult to adapt to the changing situation compared with the central requirements. There is a certain gap and many problems to be solved. We need to start from the system and innovative counselors' working mechanisms.This article aims to creat an innovative college counselors' working mechanism system through the analysis of college counselors' working mechanism, status and problems of college counselors' working mechanism, to promote the exploration and research of the college counselors' working mechanism, and to strengthen the counselors'work development.
