A Study On The Strategy To Promote Full Employment For Petroleum University Graduates Of China

Petroleum universities shoulder the responsibility of training scientific and technological talents of oil industry for our country.Whether the petroleum university graduates can obtain full employment affects the Human Resources' structure of petroleum enterprises of our country directly.It will also influence the development of petroleum enterprises and our national economy.To do better in the employment of petroleum university graduates has an important positive role in promoting the national economic development and maintaining social stability.This paper takes several primary Petroleum Universities as the research objects.It sums up a variety of problems existing in the process of the graduate employment through the statistics of these universities from 2009 to 2013,such as the insufficient employment,the significant difference among disciplines,the weak consciousness of high-ended development,and the centralization of employment areas and enterprises.Meanwhile the paper analyzes the reasons that cause these problems from such aspects as the development of oil industry,the changes of the job market and the college students' job-hunting concepts.After the analysis,the thesis concludes that the government,the society,enterprises,schools and individuals are the five factors to affect the full employment,and it also proposes some measures from the view of the five factors to promote full employment for petroleum university graduates by combining the experience from the United States,Japan,Germany and other developed countries.The measures are: the government should strengthen the system construction,develop macro-control functions and improve information services;the society should optimize social and economic structures,adjust industrial structures and accelerate the development of tertiary industries;enterprises should employ scientifically and strengthen the communication and cooperation with universities;schools must accurately locate and improve the quality of personnel training,carry out career planning and employment guidance services and strengthen entrepreneurship education;graduates must have a clear development goal,change their concept of employment,improve the overall quality and obtain employment positively.
