Research On The Subject Knowledge Discovery System Of Colleges And Universities Based On Metadata Warehouse

Colleges and universities are organizations which engaged in teaching research and social service,and they are also typical knowledge intensive organizations.Subject knowledge is the important basis for scientific research and personnel training in colleges and universities.With the rapid development of information technology and digital construction,the subject knowledge resources of colleges and universities have the explosion of geometry.Libraries,scientific research institutions,scientific research bases,business systems and teachers and students have a large number of different sources,different media,different access methods,different data structure of the subject knowledge resources.These resources are distributed in every corner of the university,which is stored in the database,the management system,the data files and even the brains of the experts and scholars.The subject knowledge resources on the internet are countless.At the same time,with the development of science and technology,the subject has been subdivided,and the degree of specialization has become more and more deep.This kind of over specialization leads to the phenomenon of "split" of subject knowledge,and the association between subject knowledge is often neglected which is likely to be a breakthrough in scientific research.Aiming at these problems in the utilization of subject knowledge in colleges and universities,this thesis firstly expounds the connotation and organization system of the subject knowledge in colleges and universities,and analyzes the dilemma of the use of it.And then combs the concept and function of metadata and metadata warehouse.It is believed that the use of metadata warehousing technology can better discover tacit knowledge from the resources and understand the association and law of subject knowledge.And then discusses the specific design of the subject knowledge discovery system based on metadata warehousing,from the standards and norms of metadata warehouse,the subject knowledge resource planning,the construction of subject knowledge resources,the organization and storage of subject knowledge resources,the metadata release,the metadata.This thesis discusses the key role of metadata warehousing technology in the development of knowledge discovery system in colleges and universities,and proves that the metadata information of various basic resources is extracted by metadata warehouse technology and the information is stored,retrieved and released.It is a powerful tool to realize the integration and organization of heterogeneous data resources.The metadata warehousing is very valuable in revealing the knowledge resources of the subject and the integration of resources in the subject knowledge discovery system of colleges and universities.Based on the key technology of metadata warehouse,this thesis discusses the resource description and organization framework of the university knowledge discovery system platform based on metadata warehouse,the platform database structure,the integration of subject knowledge resources,the various functional modules of the subject knowledge service application and the realization of the path and other specific content of a more detailed description.Through the overall design and implementation of the platform,we can better discover the implicit association between the hidden subject knowledge and the disciplines,carry out the subject knowledge service and realize the knowledge innovation of the subject.
