Teacher’s Personal Knowledge Management Based On Knowledge Map

Knowledge has become the major source of economic resources and the competitiveness of enterprises. With the huge impact which the Organization’s knowledge management had brought on socio-economic, cultural education and other fields, personal knowledge management has also attracted great attention. College is a place to impart know ledge and teachers of college are the initiator and creator who own a great wealth of knowledge. Responding to a new era of the knowledge economy, teachers must manage their know ledge to promote professional development to improve teaching quality and research ability.Based on the above considerations, this study does the following work:1. The study introduced the current situation of dissertation research of knowledge management in education and research.And then the study made a detailed analysis of the study of teacher’s personal knowledge management in China and illustrated the knowledge management theory systematically.2. On the basis of the theory and according to the characteristics of college teacher’s personal know ledge and profession and professional development needs, this paper put forward the principles, objectives and management models for teacher’s personal knowledge management.3. This paper focused on that how to use metadata and RDF/XML to describe the knowledge in college teacher’s personal knowledge. It provides security to use computer to do the visualization of knowledge.4. This essay explored three basic elements, procedures, internal structures and technical support of the knowledge map. From the document level relationship, the study made a preliminary presentation:how to build a personal knowledge map.
