A Study On The Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students' Professional Values From The Perspective Of Marx's Professional Ideal

The thesis,on the basis of the career ideal concept raised by Marx in his youth,briefly explains the formation,fundamental connotation and contemporary value of the concept.In a combination of the empirical data launched by domestic professional investigation and research institutions and personal empirical observation on the career values of contemporary university students,the paper analyzes the current situation and development trend of the career values of college students and discusses major factors that impact their career values.In addition,the thesis delves into the significance of Marx's career values in guiding university students to avoid misunderstandings and eliminate value confusions.Specifically,the paper is organized according to the following logic:First,the essence and time values of Marx's career ideal will be explained.Based on Marx's thesis Reflections of a Young Man on The Choice of a Profession,the paper explores his career ideal and time values from the perspectives of writing background,major content and time values.Marx's great and noble professional ideal and his unwavering practice serve as the very important factors for Max to make tremendous achievements and to be a great tutor for the proletariat around the world.Second,the status of university students' professional values will be delved into,with problems being analyzed.On the one hand,the thesis refers to and adopts the related data of surveys conducted by our school's Marx Theory and Ideological and Political Education Research Center and by other professional research agencies;on the other hand,mainly in the form of interviews,the paper has empirical observation on the status and development trend of the career values of the contemporary university students,in order for obtaining the first hand materials.On the basis of this,main features of the professional values of college students will be summarized and analyzed.In a view of objectivity,the paper will especially pay attention to their value deviations and conceptual confusions such as utilitarianism,extreme individualism and hedonism,and harms caused by the problems.Third,main factors impacting the formation and change of the career values will be discussed,mainly including the society,school,family and individual.Last,guided by Marx's professional ideals and practices,the thesis will explore how to help the contemporary university students avoid misunderstandings,and cultivate their awareness to make contributions,to assume responsibilities and endeavor;how to guide them to establish ambitious career ideals and persevere in the unity of individual and social ideals;and how to assist them to cultivate correct career values.
