Without talent cultivation,universities will lost its meaning.So does ideological and political education major.Ideological and political education discipline have established more than 30 years and the cultivation mode of different levels varied with place and time.From a historical perspective,this paper makes a diachronic study on Ideological and political education.Guided by national policy,classified by division of discipline,the cultivation mode at different stages with the 30 years(from begining to enroll till now)will be analyzed through three methods: literature research method,comparative analysis method,case study.According to the two reforms of ideological and political education,the cultivation of post-graduate students will divided into three stages.Each stage has its distinctive features in cultivating mode.They also embodies internal unity and innovation of the cultivation mode of ideological and political education.This paper can be divided into three parts:The first part is chapter one,which mainly explains the background of the emergence,development and transformation of the three cultivation modes in the past thirty years.The mode of "red and profession" came into being in situation that college students were challenged in the 1990 s.Along with the advent of knowledge economy age,the mode became "the one major and multiple abilities".Under the impact of amount of western cultural ideas and values,the guiding role of Marxist theory was highlighted,resulting to repositon of this discipline,which lead to emerge the mode of "comprehensive abilities" in right moment.The second part is from chapter two to four,which concretely analyzes and summarizes the three modes.Chapter two elucidates The mode of red and profession/expert which was small in scale and questioned,and which had correct political oriental function for college students’ thought.Chapter three analyzes the mode of "the one major and multiple abilities" which didn’t started harmoniously blending network with ideological and political education.But at this time the teachers’ education background were promoted on the whole,and the content of curriculum was updated in time.Chapter four summarizes that the mode of "comprehensive abilities" meet the needs of the society and the universities in quantity,but there was still a big gap in quality.The third part is chapter five,according to the analysis of three modes,four arithmetic operation were put forward.Targeted by fostering creative thinking,do "subtraction" in admissions: relatively reduce the proportion of cross professional examinee to improve "pre-quality" as a whole;Do "addtion" in the curriculum and teaching staff: increase method and thinking innovation courses;do "multiplication" in cultivation mechanism: multiple mechanisms multiply to make post-graduates’ vigor burst;Do "division" in evaluation system: a single way of summative evaluation will be divided,with which coordinately develop process evaluation.Process evaluation pay more attention to hierarchy and continuity.
