| In 2003,the Ministry of education of China has formulated the "ordinary high school curriculum plan(Experiment)" and then it has been gradually implemented throughout the country,which has promoted a high school curriculum reform.The biggest highlight of the high school curriculum reform is to promote the students’ personalized development.It is an important task to set up an elective course in high school to meet the diverse learning needs of students.High school chemistry should also set up elective courses to provide variety kinds of courses to meet the different needs of students.The key spirit of the new curriculum reform demands to reduce the compulsory course of the original unified learning,increase the development of students’ specialties,improve students’ creativity of elective courses and make students choose what they really want to learn according to their actual situation.Through reading a lot of literature,learning the research experience of the implementation of curriculum reform at home and abroad and combining the real situation of the Jinchang city schools,the author finally determined the research topic,made a detailed research program,and established the dimension index.Then the author conducted some researches of several middle schools in Jinchang city through questionnaire survey and interview.With the conducting of the questionnaire survey,the author figured out several aspects of the implementation of high school chemistry elective course.The study was carried out in two ways.First of all,through the issue of questionnaires to school teachers and students,the author investigated their views on the opening,teaching and evaluation of the chemistry elective course.Then in the aspect of chemistry elective course management,the author used the interview method to interview some school staff.Through the analysis and summary of these interviews,the author learned their problems in the implementation of their chemistry elective courses and how to deal with these problems.This study investigated the situations in different schools and reflected many problems existed in the high school chemistry elective courses,such as the students’ inability to choose their elective courses on their own,the incompatibility between school hardware facilities and teaching;the deficiency of teachers’ professional qualities;the imperfect of the elective courses’ management;the singularity of the evaluation system and the increasing of the students’ burden etc..According to these problems,the author put forward some corresponding suggestions: reform and improve the system of the college entrance examination of chemistry,improve the elective system of elective courses,and enhance the professionalism of the teachers through training.This paper put forward some detailed suggestions on several aspects of elective course management.Hope this paper can provide a good reference to the elective courses of chemistry in senior high school. |
