Under the new economic conditions,China optimizes and upgrades economic structure.the requirements and standards for workers have also changed accordingly.As a form of education to cultivate high-quality skilled talents in the forefront of the production,construction,service and management,the higher vocational education is closely related to economic and social development and its talents training program must update with the current social economy.The curriculum is the bridge for talents training programs in higher vocational education on the one hand and the requirements and standards of talents needed by society on the other.Curriculum in higher vocational colleges is the core of the entire education process,so the research on curriculum and choice of curriculum mode is very important.The curriculum model of "wide basement,flexible model” is a kind of relatively mature vocational education curriculum not only guided by lifelong education and career education,but also assimilated industry oriented model and dual system.It learns from advantages of Chinese long history of single segment curriculum mode centered by subject and develops on the basis of the exploration that has been made in the process of the experience of China's occupation education.It is curriculum development model of vocational education to cultivate transfer ability of the educated in a certain position or occupation group.This model adapts to requirements and standard for workers in China's current economic structure optimization and upgrading.It's a kind of widely used curriculum development model.What is the nature of curriculum model of " wide basement,flexible model”? What are the advantages of this model? How is it meets economic and social requirements and standard for talent? With these questions,this research uses the literature research method and the case study method to carry on the research.First,it examines connotation,structure and subject of curriculum development of the curriculum model of "wide basement,flexible model” from the history and value dimension.It clarifies basic concepts of nature,purpose and characteristics of themodel.Second,two typical professional constructions of two higher occupation colleges are selected in this study as the research object to examine the advantages and disadvantages of the mode of curriculum that used(tourism management major in College A caries on professional constructions with the curriculum model of "wide basement,flexible model”,while the application of electronic technology major in college B doesn't use it).By comparing,it finds similarities and differences of professional construction between the curriculum model of" wide basement,flexible model” and the general curriculum development model in higher vocational education.Again,according to existing research and practice,it finds out problems of the curriculum model of "wide basement,flexible model” existing in practice model construction by comparing the similarities and differences of two typical majors in two higher vocational colleges.And it puts forward some pertinent suggestions to it.Finally,based on the above research,case design is done on advertising design and production professional in higher vocational education.The curriculum model of"wide basement,flexible model” is used to professional development in advertising design.It aims to explore the use of the model in practice to provide an idea for the vocational education curriculum development model.
