Objectives: Through the establishment of different modes of motion(fast fast, uniform, slow fast),this study observes the pulmonary ventilation function and some indexes of cervical vessels before and after intervention. It also discusses the intrinsic mechanism to provide scientific, reasonable and effective exercise prescription for the crowd of middle-aged men.It can prevent and improve the chronic diseases caused by respiratory system, pulmonary ventilation function, carotid artery stenosis, etc, and provide reference for the scientific fitness. Methods: Recruiting 45-59 years old people engaged in mental works in Shaanxi,Xi’an,after a questionnaire survey,48 people were selected as the research objects.Randomly divided into fast fast group(k),slow fast group(m),uniform group(y)and the control group(d),the subjects exercised according to the group mode and were at least three times a week for a period of 12 weeks. After intervention, pulmonary ventilatory function index vital capacity VC(L),forced vital capacity FVC(L),one second rate fev1/fvc(%),maximum ventilation per minute MVV(L)and IMT(mm),carotid artery bifurcation BIF(mm),carotid artery internal diameter CCA(mm)were tested. The data were collected and analyzed before and after the intervention,so as to compare the fitness effect between different groups.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of different modes of walking exercise intervention, the forced vital capacity, vital capacity,a second rate, the maximum ventilation per minute of fast fast group and uniform group showed an upward trend. The K group had a very significant change before and after the intervention between the one second rate and the maximum ventilation volume per minute(P < 0.01).However there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).In the control group, there was a downward trend in forced expiratory vital capacity, vital capacity, and a second rate, but no significant changes were observed before intervention(P > 0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of different modes of walking exercise intervention, three groups of test subjects after bilateral carotid artery intima-media thickness and carotid bifurcation thickness was declined. There were significant changes in than before the intervention after test especially in fast fast group(P < 0.05).There were extremely significant changes in the right carotid artery bifurcation in slow fast group(P < 0.01).The effect of slow fast group on carotid artery diameter was the most obvious. There were no significant changes in other experimental groups before intervention(P > 0.05).Compared with the control group, the three indicators showed an upward trend, but there was no significant change(P > 0.05).Conclusions:(1)It can be found that for a period of 12 weeks of exercise intervention in different modes of walking can effectively improve the middle-aged men forced vital capacity, vital capacity,a second rate and every maximal ventilatory volume.Walking exercise intervention of fast fast group has the most obvious effect, and the effect of slow fast group and uniform group is weakened in turn.(2)It can be found that in the three experimental groups, the effect of fast fast group intervention on carotid artery medial thickness and carotid bifurcation thickness was the most obvious, and the effect of slow fast group and uniform group is weakened in turn. The effect of slow fast group intervention on carotid artery diameter is the most obvious.
