The reciprocal teaching method is the third teaching method in Mosston’s frequency spectrum teaching style.It is a kind of teaching mode from "Teacher centered" to "student centered".Its core content is: in order to make students get feedback information in time during the sports teaching,which makes students divide them into two parts,then they can help each other.The core of reciprocal teaching method is that to creat condition to improve teachnical skill.This paper uses the research methods of literature,expert interviews,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,experimental research method,with some students of grade 2104 in Xi’an Institute of Physical Education department as the experimental object for the 18 week teaching experiment,mainly studies the mutual teaching method on students’ interest in learning volleyball,volleyball quality,influence and effect the basic skills of volleyball,volleyball sports colleges and universities reform teaching methods and improving the theory and practice of sports teaching to provide reference,enrich the mutual teaching method,in order to improve the sports colleges volleyball course teaching quality to provide reference.Experimental results show that:(1)The reciprocal teaching method has a positive effect on improving students’ volleyball learning interests.After the experiment shows that the control class and the experimental class students have significant differences in learning volleyball interest,the number of the experimental class students interested in volleyball is 57%,while the number of control group was 50%,thus,the students in the experimental class is obviously higher than that of the control class students’ interest in learning volleyball.It shows that the reciprocal teaching method has achieved good results in the volleyball general course of Xi’an Institute of Physical Education.(2)The reciprocal teaching method has certain influence on improving the physical quality of students who learn volleyball.The experiment shows that the students control class and experimental class improve their basic physical qualities in volleyball,P-value are 0.766,0.489,0.798,0.064,during control class and experimental class.It shows the P-value all of them are higher than 0.05,so it shows that two kinds of teaching methods on physical quality has no effect significant difference.(3)The reciprocal teaching method is beneficial to the improvement of volleyball technical standards.After the teaching experiment,it shows that the experimental class and the control class students improve in Volleyball technical standard,However the experimental class is higher than that of the control class,the experimental class in the average score of digging,passing,serving,spiking at 45.73,45.03,2.20,3.36,41.46,41.23 higher than the control class 2.03,2.80 grades this shows,has a positive effect on improving mutual teaching method in Volleyball technical standard.(4)The reciprocal teaching method has a great effect on the students’ mastery of volleyball skills.The teaching experiment results show that the experimental class students in volleyball skill evaluation test and control group 0.57 pass high pass;higher than the control class 0.88;serve is higher than that of control group 0.54;spiking higher than the control class 0.92 points,thus,improve the normative action in volleyball,the reciprocal teaching is superior to the traditional method teaching method.(5)The reciprocal teaching method can improve the quality of volleyball teaching.Through the teaching experiment shows that the experimental class and the control class students in Volleyball examination total score have significant difference,the average scores of the control class was 73.71,the average scores of the experimental class is 79.03,obviously higher than the control class the experimental class,the reciprocal teaching method can improve students’ achievement,is conducive to to improve the quality of volleyball teaching.
