| Under the background of the new period,our country is building a modern vocational education system,promoting the development of modern vocational education,the vocational education reform is in full swing,the center of vocational education reform gravity in the vocational education courses,at present our country vocational education curriculum is existing the cohesion and setting problems,to solve these problems need to attach importance to the integration of academic courses and vocational courses.Curriculum integration originated in the middle of the 19 th century Europe,is a kind of important development trend in the field of curriculum design.In modern times,the development of vocational education in the United States has always attaches great importance to the cohesion integration of academic courses and professional courses,since 1984 consistent revised Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act and put an sound emphasize on the integration of two courses the federal government’s payment and encourage also boosted the The National Research Center for Career and Technical Education on the curriculum integration research.In this study,under the background of American legislation with combing congress amended and promulgated Perkins vocational and Technical Education,especially under the perspective of Carl D.Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 to analysis the American vocational Education development trend of curriculum integration.Under the influence of the Act the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education has formed the Math-in-CTE,Literacy-in-CTE and Science-in-CTE three typical mode of curriculum integration.This three mode of the curriculum integration conducted the experimental study to expend and develop the courses,during the experimental treatment has develop a community of practice among teachers and extended the teachers’ professional development.The National Research Center for Career and Technical Education provides CTE teachers a framework to enhancing the academic in the occupational curricula--the Seven Elements teaching framework,in order to facilitate the experiment improvement and analysis the influence factors of the results.Afterinterpretation and evaluation the Seven Elements pedagogy,the study conclusion is as follows: the integration of career and technical education courses and academic courses has improve the students who enrolled in career and technical education the skills of academic performance,and without affect their learning of occupational skills and knowledge acquisition,enhanced the important skills which college and career readiness need,so the American curriculum integration is important and effective measures to the career and technical education curriculum reform.Based on the above analysis,the successful experience and study results of the curriculum integration is worth our country reference.Such as strengthen the government’s attention to promote the vocational education curriculum integration consciousness,guide the implementation of the vocational education laws,and set the specialized agencies to promote the study of the curriculum integration;Strengthen the cooperation of vocational teachers and academic teachers,to improve the teaching skills;Exploring study of curriculum integration,around the specific needs of vocational courses and research the curriculum integration in a typical academic courses pilot. |
