| Under the trend of economic globalization,the minority students of national language learning while the international language is the basis of ethnic minorities in the new century education development put forward new requirements.In the context of globalization,therefore,to master English in the international general language,development of the international perspective of minority students and intercultural competence is the development of national education science.Compulsory education English curriculum standard explicitly: the teacher should motivate and strengthen continuously in the teaching of the students’ interest in learning and guide them gradually will interest into stable learning motivation.In that case,delve into ethnic minority students’ English learning motivation will certainly to implement emotional attitude goal improve the ability of international communication to adapt to the world multi-polarization is of great significanceThis study takes the S primary school in T District of Urumqi as a case,by uygur students as the research object,using the method of quantitative research and qualitative research,the three steps of "what","why" and "how to do".This study takes comprehensive and objective investigation on Uygur Students’ English learning motivation with the method of questionnaire.Then the collected data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software in order to solve the problem that what is Uighur Students’ English learning motivation.On this basis,using interview method,observation method and physical analysis method on the basis of Dornyei said three levels in foreign language learning motivation theory from the aspect of language learners’ level and the learning environment level for analyzing the influence factors to explore the reason and solve the problem of why.Finally,in view of how the teacher and parents from the school three aspect of Uighur students English learning motivation effective Suggestions,so as to solve the problem of how to do.Specific conclusions are as follows:1.Uygur Students’ English Learning Motivation Characteristics: On the whole,the primary school students’ English learning motivation is not high.On the type of motivation,the English learning motivation of Uygur Students is external motivation mainly.External motivation and achievement motivation there is significant difference between learning and English level.For specific performance,motivation intensity increased with grade increasing,and the students of high level of English learning motivation is stronger.2.Factors that affect the Uighur students English learning motivation is:students’ active learning cognition,specific learning goals.But because the student multi-cultural vision,learning cognitive focus performance for examination,learning goals for the close shot target,more interest in learning the lack of persistence.Bilingual education in social environment,the deepening,economic sustainable and healthy development of these factors as the Uighur students English learning motivation to develop the potential role.Students’ native language and Chinese both have positive transfer effect on English learning.However,because the school not to subject to institutional guarantee low the discipline status,the teaching material content not to fully tap the teachers strength is insufficient,lack of teachers’ pragmatic outlook together with parents in the family education English level and way of family nurture.The low level of learning environment for students’ English learning motivation comes from the school and the family is put forward to meet the requirements of social goals without formation is the result of learning activity itself to the inner power of persistent. |
