A Case Study Of Adolescents With Disabilities From The Perspective Of Ecosystem

Because of the physical and psychological defects,the disabled people are considered to be the most difficult and the most prominent group in the social vulnerable groups.In recent years,with the increasing number of disabled people,the problem of disabled people,especially adolescents with disabilities,has been paid more and more attention.Because of their own defects,disabled adolescents are prone to inferiority,exclusion,loneliness and other negative emotions,refuse to communicate with others,even be pessimistic,think that they have no value,lose faith in future life,these problems will directly affect their healthy growth and normal social integration.Given that the special situation of disabled adolescents,from the perspective of ecological system,the study chooses a typical case of disabled adolescents – senior high school student Q as a research object to implement the case study.Through the understanding of the micro system,the mezzo system,the peripheral system and the macro system of disabled adolescents,analysis of the influence of family system,school system and peer groups of young people with disabilities,in this way,investigate the needs of service objects roundly and deeply and tap potential resources.After the end of the case study,the case subject has a significant change,no longer as before to deny himself,start from the heart to accept himself;no longer addicted to online games in life,learn new skills,study hard,set new goals for his own future;at the same time,he also recognizes the influence of interpersonal communication and environment on himself,integrate into the surrounding environment on his own initiative.In addition,there are also some improvements in the micro system and the mezzo system,it begin to play a positive role for the object of study.Although this study demonstrates the effectiveness of the case study from the perspective of ecosystem,there are still some deficiencies.Case study is difficult,the intervention of external system is hampered to some extent,unable to research each system of the object in depth,cannot form a model of the program for the case study of disabled adolescents.In the case study,the social worker only studied a case of disabled adolescents,it does not represent disabled adolescents,and it has some influence on the reliability and validity of the study.
