An Empirical Research On National Identity Of College Students From Taiwan In Mainland

Taiwan National Identity has its specificity.It refers to the confirmation of the identity of Taiwanese,the physical values and emotional of common history,common nation and common culture of the community about one China.It mainly contains the cognition of identity and affiliation,the perspectives on the legal status of Taiwan and the attitude towards cross-strait relations.How is the Taiwan National Identity going matters about process of peaceful reunification.Under the new situation,the evolution of the policy of the Taiwan authorities,the interference of America and Japan of western counties,Taiwan independence forces stirring has brought new changes and new challenges,Huaqiao University University are national bases of overseas Chinese education which have large number of foreign students.The school not only provides talent guarantee for social and economic development,but also shoulder the heavy burden of ethnic and national gift and hope.Taking Taiwan students of Huaqiao Universities as an example,collecting relevant data by questionnaire and case interview,then perform statistical analysis by use mathematical statistics method.Then,we analyze the present conditions : blatant disregard for the political,focus on personal interests too much,Taiwan consciousness too strongly and behavior patterns influence the formation of religious identity,Then,the formation of the present situation is the result of a variety of factors.Firstly,The islanders special mentality and historical political and economic factors.Secondly,Taiwanese students stability of foreigners of complicated psychology and Japan and other western powers of inference.Thirdly,Taiwan politicians artificial construction group and selective amnesia and contradictions at the provincial level global separatist threat.Last one is Taiwan students have a low level about religious and the specific culture,social and historical background.Therefore,how to maintain consolidate in complex reality environment developing cross-straits peaceful reunification relations.It is a very import response to active promotes Taiwan students national identity in mainland.We need to from the actual benefit native values and the derivative factors four aspects to solve political identity,economy identity,ethnic identity and religious identity.Building a long-term mechanism to students' national identity education to strengthen the national identity,national spirit,and embody Chinese strength will be advantageous in impels the cross-straits peaceful unification great undertaking.
