Teaching material,teachers and students also relying on it,is one of the important medias,which is one of the key to success in teaching.Therefore,the important position of the teaching process is not to be ignored,materials directly influence the quality of the teacher's "teaching" and students "learning".In education reform,the reformation of the teaching material is very crucial.Selecting mainland People Education Press geography textbooks(compulsory)and the Taiwan Taiyu geography textbooks(compulsory)for the object,of which the objectives are to design for continental geography textbook compiling,providing advice,promoting the progress of high school geography curriculum reform,and more conducive to promote cross-strait cultural exchanges.In this paper,through literature method,comparison method,statistical analysis,content analysis and other methods,summarizing the teaching material,the basic structure and content of three sections,respectively,as a whole divided into six parts:The introduction,starting from the importance of the high school geography textbook research question,introduces the research object and content of this article,the research purpose and significance,research ideas and methods;Literature review on relevant concepts to define scientifically and reviewed the domestic and foreign research present situation of geography teaching material;Summary of the teaching material,from the high school geography new curriculum reform background,this paper compared two general situation of high school geography teaching mat erial;Structure comparison,from the basic structure of the teaching material comparative analysis,summarizes the differences and similarities of two version of geography textbook;Content comparison,from the content of the teaching material selection a nd organization,the text analysis,images and activities,summed up the differences and similarities;Conclusion and the suggestion,carries on the comprehensive summary,and put forward the following four of continental geography textbook advice.Content selection and organization,the mainland high school geography textbook writing should take geographic literacy as a starting point;updating to select material,and choosing the useful content for students' lifelong development.With the various ways of tissue for writing help,the paper cultivates students' ability to discover,analyze and solve problems;What is more,we should attach great importance to the students psychological development,join good junior middle school teaching material cont ent,deepen and expand the knowledge increased with grade;and lay emphasis on the relationship of people,train students' concept of population,resources,environmental,and development.In the text system ways,the element of,epochal character,practicability,exemplary contribute to providing the necessary geographical knowledge,paying close attention to the new theory,new achievements and new technologies,choosing the life and the lifelong development of useful geography,and taking fundamental,profound and principle of the typical cases as examples.In addition,teachers should pay attention to intellectual property rights,indicate the source channel,to the epochal character and practicality,selecting students nearby material and updating resources,to increase the remote sensing satellite image and to optimize the design of the image quality,more intuitive knowledge principle.In activity on the system,it is significant for teachers to increase the scene design,associated with the actual life,guides the student to the abstract knowledge internalization,to enhance the openness of the activity,promote students' inquiry ability;to design quality of thinking and operation,the promotion activities;and promote activity interesting,students actively participate in.
