Study On Risk Management Of University Campus

In recent years,with the rapid development of China's higher education,the security problem has expanded from the social field to the field of higher education.Security is the precondition for the conduct of all kinds of education,but also the prerequisite to the development of the work.However over the years,since the security events on college campus frequently occur,the situation of campus safety is very serious,how to prevent and respond to the campus security risks has drawn great attention of government and society.As one of the local colleges,J university in M City has made certain efforts in the risk management of campus,but with the developing changes in the security risks,different kinds of safety accidents still happened in this university.By the method of sampling analysis to all staff in the university,the paper shows the present situation of the security risk management on campus in J university.The author analyzes the existing problems by combing the method of interview and cases analysis,and also explores the reasons for the problems.With the theory of risk management and security risk management of university campus,the author also brings out some ways,for example,improving the management system of campus safety,explicating the importance of risk prevention and formulating scientific method of risk controlling and so on,providing some suggestions for the risk management of university safety.This paper consists of five parts: the first part is the introduction which introduces the background and significance of the research,combs the present situation of the topic in the academic world,shows the analysis methods and the framework.The second part demonstrates the theory of risk management,the definition and characteristics of risk management of university campus security and at the same time classifies the variety of security risks,laying the solid foundation of the risk management of university campus security.In part three and part four,this paper on the one hand explores the present situation of risk management in J university by questionnaire method,on the other hand by the method of interview and cases of safety accidents happened in J university analyzes the problems existing in the security risk management and the reasons for that.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding management countermeasures on the basis of the problem and the reason.
