Case Work Intervention On The Problems Of Adapting To The Society Of The Urban Retired People

With the social development and population increase,many retired old people left the original jobs and went back to their families.They are facing an important social adaptation challenge on the life and psychology.Focusing on the problem of social adaptation in the elderly,has become an important point of improving the elderly social welfare currently.Many people are unable to quickly adapt to the trend and often prone to depression after retirement,the phenomenon of depressed,severe cases may even form some mental illness.This phenomenon greatly influenced the happy life of the elder.And it is a great challenge for our society in the elderly service sector.So we need a platform to help the elderly solve the adaptation after their retirements,let them have a better life.The subjects of this thesis are urban retirees,Mr.Z as a case who lives in Luannan town Tangshan City.It mainly uses the way of action research method.Through a series of data collection and communication,I established a professional relationship with each other.And I found a few adaptive problems of Mr.Z in ways of life,interpersonal relationship,as well as the change of the environment.To solve these problems,I made a joint plan to confront the social adaptation of the service object and helped him improve his ability of social adaptation,based on the theory of social adaptation,social support network and the strengths perspective.According to the research,it found that retired people have comprehensiveness in social adaption.Different types of social adaptation issues have their inner connections;On the issue of helping to solve the adaptability of retirees to social life,the social support network and the superiority perspective have a good effect on himself;The family blood relationship is the foundation of solving the retirees adaptability;Peer groups,communities and other resources are the significant advantages to promote the social benefits of retirees.It is believed that resources such as family,peer group,community and so on provide a full range of system support for the social adaptability of retirees.Through the practice of social work,I hope that this article can provide depth study for future social workers when they are in the process of service retirees.I hope the conclusions and experiences can provide a certain reference for improving the social adaptation of such groups.It is helpful for them to adapt to the social environment better and faster.
