The Investigation Research On The Present Situation Of Rural Fathers' Participation In Children Education

In the process of children's growing up,the father plays an important role,being different from the mother's.The father's character is always positioned as the breadwinner.Father is extremely devoted to their work and earn more money to let the family live stably.In contrast,other things are less important,such as participation in child education.In rural areas,this phenomenon is particularly special,the study of rural fathers' participation in early childhood education has certain significant presently.In this study,the author determined A county of Handan City,Hebei Province as the research object.The method of questionnaires and interviews were used in this study.The author investigated and analyzed the present situation and influencing factors of rural fathers' participation in early childhood education in A County,Handan City,Hebei Province.The results of the survey show:1.The participation of the overall situation of the rural father in early childhood education in A county Handan City,Hebei Province is general,and fathers are better dealing with child special events handling activities and educational activities.2.Fathers under 25 years old age accompanying activities and caring activities are obviously less than those who under 35 years old.3.The participation of higher educated fathers' is higher;4.Participation of the father who are occasionally at home is higher than those perennially at home and those who are not always at home;5.Fathers who with low monthly income are better involved.On the basis of the investigation results,the author further discussed the factors influencing rural fathers' participation in preschool education.The influencing factors are as follows:1.father's age,education,personality,the role of their own understandingaffect their participation in children's education;2.Childhood age,temperament type are the influencing factors of father's parenting factors.Family structure,the attitude members of and monthly income affect the participation of father to participate in the upbringing of young children.Social and cultural factors affect the father's participation in early childhood education.On the basis of discussing the present situation and influencing factors of rural fathers' participation in early childhood education,the author puts forward some suggestions to fathers,society,family and preschool education institutions,and offers reference promoting the fathers' participation.
