Comparative Study Of The Ancient Poetry And Prose Arrangement Of Textbooks For Junior High Schools Beween PEP And Hamlin

The paper makes a comparative study on ancient poetry selection problems of Chinese textbook of Junior High School,which on both sides of the Taiwan Strait,PEP version and Taiwan Hanlin version.It mainly discusses the common values of the ancient Chinese poetry that being applied the Chinese Language Teaching.The study of ancient poetry contributes to strengthen the moral accomplishment,inherit Chinese traditional culture,cultivate aesthetic tasty,increase appreciation as well as accumulate language knowledge.It based on the compilation of ancient poetry,which respectively from three angles of two versions,the basis of compiling,text content and presentation,to comprehensively analysis and comparison.It can be concluded from the comparative analysis,but the imperial edition of ancient poetry accounts for a higher proportion and distribution standard.Renjiao version covers lots of ancient texts,while should be appropriately increased the proportion of ancient texts and distributed in every unit system.In the selection,two versions have already paid attention to classics,fully consider the characteristics of the times,selection and style of different authors as well as other factors,etc.The same author for two editions may choose the different texts,due to different emphases and thoughts.Hanlin version pays more attention to personal emotional and PEP texts pay more attention to social nature,which the two kinds of versions should be integrated,in order to reach a state of balance.The genre of PEP selection is more comprehensive,but Hanlin version should be appropriately increase the comprehensiveness,so that students have more extensively comprehend.Hanlin version,both from the unit tips to the illustration design and from the pre-class reading guidance system and after-school practice settings,which have regularly system.PEP version should improve the arrangement of teaching materials of ancient poetry,which will help to develop students' reading interest and enhance their reading efficiency.
