Experiencing Chinese(Thai Version For Elementary Vol.1-4) Textbook Research And Satisfaction Survey

Chinese textbook is a very important teaching medium in the teaching process.The improvement of China's international status,more and more Chinese learners are learning Chinese,and the requirements of Chinese learners are gradually increasing,it is necessary to design textbooks more suitable for localized Chinese teaching.Based on “Experiencing Chinese”(Thai version for elementary vol.1-4)as the research object,carries on the detailed analysis of the investigation,summarizes its characteristics,for teaching Chinese localization research provides a case analysis.This research includes six parts: The first chapter introduces the reason of topic selection,research purpose and significance,research scope and research methods.The second part describes the basic principles and concepts of textbook compilation,The theoretical basis of textbook evaluation,and the definition of localized textbooks.The third chapter is about the compilation characteristics of the textbook in six aspects: phonetics,Chinese characters,vocabulary,grammar,exercise and culture,including the arrangement order and interpretation of sound,rhyme and tone.Whether there is a knowledge of Chinese characters;Analyze the level of vocabulary,and the interpretation of new words in the textbook.In addition,the explanation of grammar points and analyze the level of grammar,the number and type of exercises are also discussed.As for the cultural aspect,it is mainly to see if there are introductions and how to introduce the cultural aspects of Chinese and Thai culture.The fourth chapter mainly survey the satisfaction of Assumption Sriracha School on the textbook “Experiencing Chinese”(Thai version for elementary vol.1-4),through data statistics analysis and put forward suggestions.It was found that teachers and students were satisfied with the textbook,in addition,teachers suggested that this textbook should increase cultural knowledge.The fifth chapter is a reflection on the use of the textbook “Experiencing Chinese”(Thai version for elementary vol.1-4).This research includes the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook and put forward some suggestions for the problems in this research.The advantage of the textbook is that it integrates into the localized language and culture of Thailand,and it is full of local characteristics.The disadvantage is the content lacks of local Thai festivals.The textbook should be increased to attractThe sixth chapter is the summary of the full text,and points out the innovation and shortcomings of the article.
