With the rapid advancement of urbanization in our country and the gradual widening of the urban-rural dual difference, cities and towns have a strong attraction and rural areas have a huge driving force.Under the pressure of these two factors, more and more people choose to leave their hometown to work in cities. After the rural population has flown to the city,it has a great impact on the countryside, impacting the original rural structure, changing the functional spatial structure of the countryside, and causing waste of land resources. The countryside has gradually developed in the direction of decline and emptiness. This paper selects Situ Village in Baoding Which is a typical out-of-town village,as the specific object of the study.Through the investigation and interviews of the population and their families in the field, the reasons for the selection of migrant workers’ behaviors and their outgoing characteristics are analyzed. We discuss the main reasons by discussing with village seniors and village cadres.By doing this we know the development of the shape of the village’s apace, the evolution of residential space, production space, public space and commercial space.Based on this,an influencing factor evaluation system including 4 first-level indicators,14 second-level indicators of rural settlement transitions, and 4 first-level indicators,10 secondlevel indicators, and 19 third-level indicators were constructed. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: In terms of the spatial composition of rural settlements, the influence of various spatial types on the spatial pattern changes of the entire rural settlements is arranged in order of living space> public space> production space> commercial space.(1)The spatial evolution of residential settlements constitutes the main content of the changes in the spatial pattern of rural settlements;(2)Population factors have become the most prominent influence on the spatial evolution of rural settlements, and their importance has far exceeded economic and social factors. In particular, the continuous increase in the size of the out-migrated population has a greater impact on the spatial evolution of rural communities.(3)The degree of influence of the migrant population on the spatial changes in rural areas varies. For example, migrants living in cities and towns make the living space vacant, the production space idle and the use of public space inadequacies, making the countryside empty. As urban and rural migrants increase their income when they work, they greatly expand the rural living space and make Agricultural production space is weakened.(4)The left-behind population also puts forward corresponding demands for rural space.Planning strategies for a large number of outflow villages.First of all, according to the different nature of the population to adopt different planning strategies.Second,it proposes solutions to the problems in the living space, public space, production space, and commercial space.Furthermore,on the basis of controlling the rural spatial structure, the spatial resources in rural communities are fully tapped.
