Strategies Of Improving The Ability Of Chemical Reading Based On Autonomous Learning

Reading is an important activity in human social life.It is not only an important way for human beings to understand the world and obtain information,but also the most universal and lasting way of learning for human beings.In educational activities,reading is the basis of learning knowledge,improving ability and promoting quality,and it is also an indispensable link to train all kinds of talents.Reading ability is important in learning ability.In order to learn to study,persons should learn to read.On the basis of the current situation of high school chemistry teaching,the author intends to clarify the necessity of developing students' chemical reading ability in senior high school chemistry teaching.By way of literature reference,this essay defines self-regulated learning,chemical reading and the competence of chemical reading.Based on questionnaire approach,the author carried out some surveys and interviewed some teachers.In this way,the author had a good understanding of the present situation of chemical reading,the habit of chemical reading,the obstacle to chemical reading and the problems in reading.At last,this essay worked out some teaching strategies to improve the ability of chemical reading of senior high school students.In this study,two parallel classes were selected.One of them was an experimental class,whose students were taught with the strategy improving method of chemical reading.The other was a control class,in which traditional teaching was performed.After six months of teaching practice,the author had some ways to improve students' ability of chemical reading on the basis of self-regulated learning through research and analysis on concrete cases.The results show that the strategy research of improving the chemical reading ability in high school chemistry teaching plays a very significant role in improving students' achievement and interest in learning chemistry,thus cultivating students' learning ability.
