In a one-hundred year strategy of a nation,education is the most important basic,and in a one-hundred year strategy of education,teacher is the most important basic.To ensure education quality,the building of a professional high quality teacher team has become the focus of education all around the world in the 21st century.Teacher evaluation is a important part and key method to evaluate teacher's teaching performance and potential.Beginning teacher is a special member among the teacher team,it is necessary and important to provide effective induction and support for them,to ensure their quality and help them grow up faster.This essay designed to introduce the beginning teacher evaluation system in American,and explore how to establish a system which can contact pre-career training and post-career development,and thus provide some revelation for our country in new teacher recruiting,teacher pre-career training and professional evaluation.Author firstly use literature research to tease out the current situation and existing problems of beginning teacher evaluation in our country,and then found that,although the teacher certification system has been perfecting and developing gradually,there has little evaluation system and standard that is especially for beginning teacher.America is the first country that requi.res teacher qualification authentication,and established evaluation standard and develop-supporting plan for beginning teacher in 1980s.So this essay start from the period of germination,formation and development,introducing the historical evolution process of the American beginning teacher evaluation system,to understand its social and economic creation background.Then,based on the both the standards published in 1992 and 2011,comparatively analyzing the two standards content,found that 201 's standard,is more emphasis that teacher should help student to acquire the ability of self-study and problem-solving,and also should have a global view and awareness,and be proficient in the use of new science and technology.In the end,based on these research,author put forward some suggestions for our country to perfect beginning teacher's authentication and evaluation.These suggestion include,connecting teacher certification authentication system and teacher evaluation standard,the connecting the independence of standard setting bodies and diversity of participant to guarantee the quality of teacher's teaching performance;standard-setting should aimed at promoting teacher's professional development,and standards context should reflect the importance and cultivation of teacher's dispositions.
