The set of the teacher evaluation system aims at helping teachers to find their problem in teaching and giving some suggestions for improving their professional abilities.The standard of evaluation works as an core part in the system,which affect the achievement of the goal and availability of the result.This thesis focus on analyzing the development history of the teacher evaluation system in Taiwan and deeply paraphrasing the structural direct of formulating the the standard of the evaluation system,presenting the current standard system,which contributes to the the features of the standard and exploring the enlightenment to our mainland.Based on the literature and policy texts,the paper firstly focus on analyzing the development history of the teacher evaluation system in Taiwan,and finds that the development of the teacher evaluation standard started with the teacher training and emphasize on the professional development during the process of teacher evaluation.The teacher training with attention to professional knowledge develops from single to multiple during the growth of the history,and gradually comes to an system which contribute to the professional development,so that the evaluation standard tends to the teacher's personal growth.Secondly,the paper deeply paraphrases the structural direct of formulating the the standard of the evaluation system and presents the current standard system.It is found that the formulation of the evaluation standard follows the guidance of level-dimension-indicator which differentiate the teacher's different abilities and matches with different dimensions and indicators.In summary,the standard is set from curriculum design and teaching,class management and guidance,research development and further study and professionalism and attitude which includes knowledge,affection,volition and behavior,especially emphasize on the professional growth.Finally,the paper present the features and weakness of the standard of Taiwan professional growth and explore the enlightenment to our mainland.The characteristics of systematicness and scientificity provide the advice on improving the macroscopic standard with lack of operability of our mainland which only rely on single evaluation method and emphasize on the performance of summative evaluation.The standard of the teacher evaluation in Taiwan pay attention to the professional development,which can promote the teaching behaviour in some extent and improve the teaching quality,internalize into the personal development,most importantly can provide the advice for our mainland to tackle the current dilemma with utilitarian goal and microscopic standard.
