The interpersonal communication problem of college students is an important content of Ideological and political education in colleges and universities in new era.Based on Max van Manen’s research on secret sharing and retention in self-identity and interpersonal relationship,this study explores the dynamic process of college students ’interpersonal relationship from the secret sharing and retention of college students’ interpersonal communication.Semi-structured interviews and language and text data encoding analysis were conducted to probe the dynamic changes in the pattern of college students’ relationships.Based on the content of the interviews,from the perspective of secret sharing,we arrive at following conclusion: the interpersonal communication strategy of college students mainly includes the expectation of spatial distance,psychological distance,self-disclosure,relationship trend and vested interests,and then their relationship is closer or alienated,and eventually insiders and outsiders and other dynamic changes would emerge;college students tend to share their secrets to people who have closer relationship with them;the secret sharing facilitates the formation of small groups;old friends become interpersonal pressure vent;parents and other relatives are rarely mentioned.Finally,the pattern of interpersonal relationship expected by college students is the social support network which based basically at the pattern of emotional order,featured the main line of emotional logic and aims at the balance of interpersonal relationship.
