Research On The Countermeasures Of Teaching Quality Project Of Independent Colleges A In China

Drawing on superior resources of parent universities,independent colleges as a new model arising in the course of higher education popularization in China,are established in accordance with new mechanism and with their rapid growth have become an important component in China's higher education system.So far,scholars have presented relevant theories on the independent college teaching quality project in such respects as higher education quality,teaching quality evaluation function,evaluation theory of the teaching quality project,connotative development of the teaching quality project,and so forth.Stemming from these,this paper cites independent college A to expound in-depth the current implementation status of the teaching quality project and researches on countermeasures.Based on the running history of the independent college,development situation,the state of teaching quality as well as the current implementation status of the teaching quality project,this paper delves into the existing problems in the teaching quality project of independent colleges.They have common issues including,but not limited to,lack of clarity in the property positioning of the school,ambiguous positioning of personnel training,over-reliance on parent universities,inadequate attention to branding and characteristic positioning,relative blindness of major and curriculum setup,and weak capacity of the teaching staff.The emergence of these problems has objective causes and reality backgrounds;to solve them feasible implementation plans need to bemapped out.The construction of the independent college teaching quality project must be built on the foundation of positioning personnel training targets rationally,setting up majors and curriculum reasonably,developing a high quality teaching team,and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation of the teaching quality project,which is also the only path to development and growth for independent colleges.
