Recently,the impact of internships on college graduates' job satisfaction arises a growing number of concerns.Numerous studies have shown that internship effects job satisfaction by affecting the employability.But the attention to signaling is insufficient and these studies are mainly limited to theoretical discussion lacking of empirical testing.There are some questions that need to be deeply researched:the impact of internship signals on job satisfaction are significant or not and how to distinguish various dimensions of internship and their influence.Based on studies of college graduates from information point of view,internship situation is divided into five dimensions of internship and job matching,internship times,maximum internship time,internship intensity and internship unit types.Discusses the signaling of internship and its effect on job satisfaction.Based on theoretical model analysis,this article present two hypotheses.The impact of internships on job satisfaction in the signaling pathway are not significant.All dimensions of internship have different effects on job satisfaction.Using the mixed research methods of questionnaires and interviews,referencing to the scales of existent research about internship,employability and job satisfaction and combining with China's actual internship situation of college graduates,survey questionnaire was designed and handed out to qualified college graduates.Use SPSS statistics software to process data and test the hypotheses.Combine with individual interviews to deepen the conclusions.Research shows that the impact of internship on job satisfaction in the signaling pathway are not significant overall.All dimensions of internship have different effects on job satisfaction.The signaling of internship and job matching,internship times and maximum internship time are strong.They are separated.Internship intensity and internship unit types are not strong.They are confused.The conclusions provide important references for internship and employment guidance for college graduates.First of all,college graduates should select the internship that can mostly improve the employability.Only in this way can improve job satisfaction by employability enhancement.Secondly,college graduates should be the main consideration in internship and job matching,internship times and maximum internship time when select internships.
