At present,with the rapid development and popularization of science technology and information technology,the Maker Movement had been rapidly developed both at home and abroad.Maker Education had received widespread attention in the education field.As a carrier of maker education,maker curriculum had been paid much attention by domestic and foreign education field for its design and implementation.Presently,the maker education curriculum was developing rapidly in primary and secondary schools,but there were still some problems such as single structure,students’ imitation operation,failure to integrate with other subject knowledge.In response to this situation,the study used blocks building maker curriculum as an example,then built a complete and systematic maker curriculum system for primary and secondary pupils.In practice,the curriculum was modified and improved in order to provide reference for the study of maker curriculum.At the theoretical level,the study analyzed and summarized the connotation,characteristics,principles,implementation and evaluation of maker curriculum at home and abroad in order to provide a theoretical reference for the research.Through the analysis of the current situation,the study found that most of the research had the following problems: Firstly,most of the maker curriculum design was completed only based on the practice experience.Therefore,the curriculum system was fragmented,not systematic,could not reflect the advanced idea of maker curriculum;Secondly,the curriculum positioning was not clear and it was difficult to popularize,so that it couldn’t reach the goal of full participation and friendly cooperation.In general,the situation provided practical guidance for the study of creating blocks building curriculum system.At the level of curriculum design,the study firstly used literature research to analyze the basic elements of curriculum design including curriculum goal design and curriculum content design.Then,based on the analysis of social needs,learner characteristics,subject experts’ opinions and the characteristics of maker curriculum,the study designed the target and content of the maker education curriculum.At the level of curriculum practice and evaluation,the study firstly used interview method to invite the maker education experts to provide the modification suggestion for buildingthe maker curriculum system,and then modified the curriculum system,wrote a survey,and invited the expert to evaluate again.After determining the rationality of the curriculum system,the study put the curriculum into practice and the curriculum had achieved good results.The study verified and completed the goal and content system of blocks building curriculum during the process of practice and evaluation,and proved that they could play an effective role in developing students’ practical ability,problem-solving ability,creativity and cooperation ability of lower-grade primary school students.At the same time,it was hoped that it would have great potential in basic schools and could provide reference and resources for the study of curriculum design.
