Nowadays,knowledge economy is coming on its way.What it really needs in this era is talents with innovation consciousness,thinking,ability and action.Until the recent call: “mass entrepreneurship and innovation”,China has planned for innovation for years but failed to find an explicit way to cultivate it.Learning in maker education which originated form America is based on making and it aims on cultivating makers,which has related to innovation and entrepreneurship education closely.Maker education is a new way to carrying on innovation and entrepreneurship education and cultivating innovation ability and it is the link between innovation and entrepreneurship.The key to successful launching of maker education is a professional maker education teacher troop.This research focuses on the abilities of maker education teachers and explores ways to constructing these abilities.With the analysis method of Web's “ideal type”,on the basis of constructivism theory and taking three core factors of maker education: creation,cooperation and sharing into consideration,the ideal model of the ability structure of maker education teachers will be worked out.Conducting questionnaire and interview to grasp real situation of the ability structure of maker education teachers and compare the real model with the ideal one,upon which,reasonable measures of ability building of maker education teachers will be put forward,which will enrich research fruits about ability construction of maker education teachers in primary and secondary schools of China.
