Along with the rapid development of information and technology,information technology education in primary schools is particularly important.The new curriculum reform emphasizes the cultivation of students' information literacy,innovative spirit,and sharing abilities,allowing students to experience the joys of information activities while mastering the application skills of commonly used software/tools,and to achieve the goal of teaching to apply what they have learned.At the same time,with the rise of maker education,new teaching methods have been provided for cultivating pupils' innovative practical ability.Maker education requires students to "learn from play" and "learn from practice",emphasize the process of practice and sharing of results,and focus on fostering the spirit of making a guest.In the elementary school information technology curriculum,how to inject the concept of maker education into the learning activities and implement student learning activities to change the ineffective teaching status.Therefore,how to use maker education to improve the teaching efficiency of elementary school information technology is a problem.So in the elementary school information technology curriculum,the author proposes to conduct research in the form of learning activities in order to find out new learning activity programs.This study mainly used literature research,questionnaire surveys,quasi-experim ental studies,and other research methods.Firstly,we fully understood the current situation of elementary school information technology teaching and related conce pts of maker education.Then,based on the theoretical basis of constructivist lear ning theory,innovative education theory,instructional design theory centered on l earning activities,and elementary school information technology syllabus,the con tent of elementary school information technology curriculum in the context of ne w curriculum reform and interpretation of goals was described,and analyzed the constituent elements of the maker learning activities,expressed the principles of designing the learning activities of the makers,and designed a design model for the learning activities of the makers.After determining the evaluation plan and the experimental plan,the practice of maker learning activities was carried out in the elementary school information technology curriculum,and the expected teach ing effect was achieved in the student learning activities.Finally,through analyzing and comparing the experimental and control students' innovative ability,operational ability,information habits and creative works,combinedwith the students' interviews after the learning activities,we found that launching student learning activities in elementary school information technology courses can mobilize students' learning enthusiasm,improving students' innovative ability and operating skills,strengthening students' awareness of collaboration and sharing spirit,improve classroom teaching efficiency,and providing new directions for the improvement of information technology teaching.
