Shenzhen X Institutions "Growth Horizon" Project Evaluation Research

Project evaluation is a key part of the social work practice process.At present,the government through the purchase of social work services to provide benefits for the disadvantaged groups.Whether the service model is effective,how about the effect of service,how to improve the service method,and so on,all require an assessment of the project.Meanwhile,The results of the assessment would need further research.The "Growing Horizon" project is based on the model of the internal evaluation.The staff will evaluate the service of the project based on the specificassessment tools.Meanwhile,theproject evaluation activities should followthe principle of the interactive,continuity and the client centered principle.In this paper,though the date collection and interviews to gain the project assessment activities' original data.In the process of data analysis,it is found that the assessment of the scope of the service object in the process assessment is too broad,the service form is not perfect,there is no set of suitable rules for the basis of the criteria;the results of the assessment of the use of indicators can not reflect the project objectives,not to achieve the service side,the purchaser,the beneficiaries of the interaction between the three,the satisfaction of clients to assess a single way.Based on the relevant theory and practical experience,this paper analyzes the problems in the project of "growth horizon".Simultaneously,puts forward some suggestions for improvement,including enhancement of training and communication of evaluators;narrowing the scope of demand selection;developing specifications for such project evaluations;improving project evaluation forms;building project evaluation models.
