Social Work Involvement Of Mental Problems Of Minority Students With Disabilities

Since the Enrollment policy of university in 1996,the number of college students in China has increased year by year,college students' psychological co unseling has become an important part of the students' work.The diversity of college students is becoming more and more obvious,and the psychological pr oblems of students also appear the trend of complication and individuation.In this paper,the feasibility of social work intervention in special college students' psychological adjustment and academic development is analyzed with the prof essional perspective of social work.The author combines the ethnic social wor k,professional theory and practice in social work for the disabled and practical skills to ease up the main practical difficulties and psychological burden,and ultimately to help people to help themselves to.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is introduction,It ma inly introduced the background?purpose and significance of this research,as well as the related literature,the research ideas and methods;The second part introduces the theories and methods related to this research,it includes the the ory and method of the social work for disabled,also includes the theory and method of the ethnic social work.The third part details the specific process of service,including eight meetings.In addition,there is also summary of each meeting : talks skill application,the effect of every meeting,client's change and so on.The fourth part is the summary and reflection of the full paper.It s ummarized the main reasons of client's change,the effects of this case work,th e limitation and prospect.Through this study,The author found the contradiction between the require ments and the shortage of China's national social work.Since ethnic social wo rk has not formed a complete set of theory system yet,and the poor explorat ion of practical work are limiting the development of the ethnic social work.Fo r such a multi-ethnic country as China,ethnic social work can maintain social peace and stability,it is also an important approach to the harmonious develop ment of all nationalities.So both theory research and practical exploration are r emarkable.The author put forward that ethnic sensitivity?cultural knowledge a nd social work values are most important for ethnic social worker.
