The Study On Nursing Caring Characters Of Current College-level Nursing Students And The Related Factors

Purpose: Based on the investigation of the quality of humanistic of college-level nursing students,to learn about the difference between college level nursing students from different colleges and school year.Discuss about the factors that affect college level nursing students' humanistic quality and relevant suggestions in order to increase the quality of humanistic in college-level nursing students.Methods : Simple sampling from 3 college-level nursing schools from Jilin and Changchun,total of 620 students participated.Used method of survey study that designed by Second Military Medical University;including Basic Personal Information and Humanistic Quality Measurement two parts in the survey.Statistic analysis of the survey finding used methods including frequency,rate,percentage,mean,median and standard deviation.Measurement was tested with t test,analysis of variance,and non parametric tests.Affect factors were tested with gradual regressive analysis.Result: The humanistic quality level of study objects are good in overall,score point is85.97%(>80%).Among the four study subjects of humanistic knowledge,humanistic ability,humanistic understanding and humanistic concept,humanistic knowledge had the highest score,followed by humanistic ability and humanistic understanding;humanistic concept got the lowest score.Among the affect factors of school year,home location,social status,education of humanistic level,effort of teacher,effort of parents,effort of classmates,and effort of clinical preceptor,the different score that nursing students got on humanistic quality has statistical meanings.Based on the gradual regressive analysis of the factors that affect the nursing students humanistic quality,we found the main affect factors that influence the result are humanistic education,effort of teacher,effort of clinical preceptor,and effort of classmates.Conclusion: Even though the survey shows college-level nursing students have good humanistic quality,it is still necessary for improvement;especially on humanistic understanding and humanistic concept.Since humanistic education,and effort of teachers,parents and classmates are important factors that affect students' humanistic quality,we can use focused strategies such as bring depth into humanistic concept,build up humanistic environment,improve teachers and clinical preceptor's humanistic quality in order to increase the humanistic quality level of college-level nursing students.
