Hebei Yuxian paper-cut occupies a pivotal position in Chinese traditional folk art,whose indulgence and color point dyeing is an important symbol different from other regions' paper-cut.With strong traditional characteristics and humanities,it is one of the selected items in the third batch of the United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization "human intangible cultural heritage representative list".As a famous non-material cultural heritage project in China,both the artistic characteristics of Yuxian paper-cut and the development process of Yuxian paper-cut have the research meaning and value.As art major students,we should use a new perspective and view to treat this traditional culture,make efforts to learn the culture core in Yuxian paper-cut art,and introduce the Yuxian paper-cut into the primary and middle schools art courses.This thesis is based on the study of the basic situation of Yuxian paper-cut in the background of Yangyuan No.1 Middle School.It analyzes the artistic characteristics of Yuxian paper-cut,putting its unique artistic characteristics into the art class to enrich the content of art teaching as well as improve students' interest in Yuxian paper-cut art and enhance their enthusiasm.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,explaining the research background of this subject.It discusses the unique artistic characteristics of Yuxian paper-cut and the inevitability of the innovation of the art courses in Yangyuan No.1 Middle School,pointing out the content and method of the research.The second part is the theoretical basis and the present situation.Dewey's theory of pragmatism and learning motivation are introduced respectively.It also reveals that the effective teaching of paper-cut classes in middle schools should reflect the new teaching view,teacher-student view and teaching methodology,paving the way for the teaching theory of the paper-cut courses in Yangyuan No.1 Middle School.This part also discusses the problems and countermeasures in the implementation of Yuxian paper-cut teaching.The third part includes the third and fourth chapters,which is the main part of the thesis.It mainly discusses the teaching practice of Yuxian paper-cut in the art courses in middle schools,and the teaching significance of setting up paper-cut course.It suggests that we should conduct research combining Yuxian paper-cut art with primary and middle schools art course in the practice of teaching,which not only makes great significance on the application of Yuxian paper-cut art itself in primary and middle schools,but also provides a new method for art teachers to use local resources to develop school-based course for primary and middle schools.
