With the gradually deepening reform of English teaching,people pay more attention to oral English application ability.Today oral English is playing an important role in the development of the society with the increasingly close foreign exchange and the important oral communication.At present,the Internet information technology has become the main driving force of the development of education,the study of education and teaching promoted by online social media begins to gradually increase.But the research of oral English teaching of high school supported by online social media is not enough,so this paper provides a new teaching mode of oral English based on Wechat public platform to improve the present teaching situation and promote quality of oral English teaching.This research is based on the U-Learning theory,Situated Learning theory,Constructivism theory and Second language acquisition theory as the theoretical basis,the author participated in a teaching practice for one semester on the first grade high school supported by Wechat teaching platform.The author finds out some negative factors in oral English teaching from the research of English teachers' teaching conception,teaching method and teaching mode and puts forward the concrete solutions and strategies by using the structural features and functional advantage of Wechat public platform which applied to teaching practice of oral English.The whole teaching process consists of three stages,the students can make considerable progress in each stage by testing and evaluating students' oral English learning.Gradually students can find their confidence and courage in the process of learning by the Wechat public platform which supports the oral teaching,at the same time,avoid the negative factors during their oral expression,and also accordingly achieve the unity of procedure and method,knowledge and skills,emotional attitude and values in the three different teaching stages.This mode extends the teaching time,expands the teaching space.Adapt to the development of the new media time,it possesses the advanced characteristics and advantages when compared with regular oral English classroom teaching,is a kind of mode innovation of oral English teaching which lays a good development prospect for Wechat public platform in the field of language teaching.
