The teaching of argumentative writing in senior high school is of prime importance.Starting from the concept and characteristics of argumentation,the thesis decomposes out the specific requirements of argumentative writing in senior high school and meanwhile makes clear the value of the teaching of argumentative writing in senior high school by adopting method of literature analysis,experiment,experience summary,survey research,and so on.By applying the survey research method,the thesis analyses the current situation of students' argumentative writing,teachers' teaching of argumentative writing and the teaching resources of argumentative writing in senior high school and it analyses the causes of the current situation of the argumentative writing teaching in senior high school.On this basis,the thesis unfolds its exploration and research on the teaching practice of senior high school argumentative writing.It believes that multiple ways can be used to develop students' ability to begin an argument,and attention should be paid to train students' logical thinking ability and their argumentative writing skills,and meanwhile attention should also be paid to improve the teaching evaluation mechanism of argumentative writing.The thesis argues that making clear the teaching requirements and the teaching value of the senior high school argumentative writing,getting to know the current teaching situation of the senior high school argumentative writing,paying attention to developing students' logical thinking ability and training their writing skills,and taking good advantage of the teaching evaluation mechanism of argumentative writing at the same time will be helpful to improve the teaching level of senior high school argumentative writing.
