Argumentative writing is a kind of practical writing style,which uses argument as the main expression,factual materials or theoretical basis,through rigorous logical reasoning,to put forward opinions,express opinions and clarify the truth to specific readers,so as to persuade others.it is an important writing style of senior high school students at present.Logical thinking,which is an abstract thinking formed by judgment and reasoning with the aid of concept,plays a particularly important role in the process of argumentative writing.In this study,questionnaire survey was used to investigate the status quo of logical thinking ability of argumentative writing among senior high school students.By using the method of interview,the author tries to find out the problems in senior high school students' argumentative writing and the teaching of logical thinking in senior high school students' argumentative writing in the eyes of the first-line Chinese teachers.The investigation shows that the senior high school students have some logic thinking sensitivity,but their knowledge of argumentative writing style is not enough,and their logic thinking ability is still weak.in argumentative writing,it mainly embodies in the following aspects: weak material use ability,illogical language expression,insufficient analytical reasoning ability and lack of self-consciousness.Based on the survey results,this paper analyzes the main factors affecting the cultivation of logical thinking ability in argumentative writing of senior high school students,such as students' narrow reading horizon,poor reading habits,inadequate practice,teachers' lack of theoretical knowledge of logical thinking and teachers' examination on the teaching side.Writing is a creative mental work process that reflects objective things,expresses thoughts and feelings,and conveys knowledge and information by using language symbols.Logical thinking,as the soul of argumentative writing,runs through every stage of argumentative writing.In view of the findings of the survey,this study proposed targeted strategies,specifically for argumentative writing style knowledge to grasp the lack of teachers to guide students to consolidate the basic style knowledgestrategy;Aiming at the poor use of materials,this paper puts forward some strategies for teachers to strengthen students' ability of analysis and integration.Aiming at the weakness of language expression ability,this paper puts forward some strategies for teachers to guide students to experience language logical expression ability.In view of the weakness of analytical reasoning ability,this paper puts forward some strategies for teachers to strengthen students' analytical thinking ability.Aiming at the lack of self-consciousness,the paper puts forward some strategies for teachers to guide students to experience students' logical thinking in reading,observation and social life.
