The report of the Nineteenth Party Congress takes the acceleration of the construction of an innovative country as a major strategic task in implementing the new development concept and building a modern economic system,and makes the firm implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education,the strategy of building the country through talents,and the strategy of innovation-driven development as major initiatives to build a well-off society.The development of the country and society puts forward new requirements for cultivating and creating innovative talents.The formation of innovative thinking and the strengthening of question awareness are keys to creating innovative talents.The question awareness is also the internal driving force of innovative thinking and the cornerstone of the spirit of innovation.Therefore,it is especially important to cultivate students’ question awareness.Based on the survey of students’ question awareness and the student problem awareness training,this paper analyzes the reasons for the students’ weak question awareness,tries to put forward the strategy of optimizing students’ question awareness according to the mechanism of question awareness and the characteristics of geography teaching itself.It is expected that this study can further explore the cultivation of students’ question awareness on the basis of predecessors’ research and provide some reference for the actual teaching of the frontline geography teachers.This article mainly includes the following parts:The first part: Research background,research significance,research status and research methods.The second part: Defines the concept of question and question awareness respectively,and discusses the theoretical basis of the study of question awareness training.The third part: Uses the observation method and the questionnaire survey to investigate the current status of students’ question awareness,and on this basis analyzes the factors affecting students’ question awareness from students and teachers.The fourth part: In addition,the production mechanism of problem awareness was also elaborated.According to this,the knowledge factor,thinking quality and metacognitive monitoring level were taken as the three important factors affecting students’ problem awareness.Puts forward the principles that need to be followed in the cultivation of students’ question awareness: the principle of subjectivity,the principle of difference,the principle of cognitive dissonance,the principle of motivation and the principle of gradual andorderly progress;The starting point is to influence the factors that raise students’ question awareness.Based on the mechanism of question awareness,students’ question awareness strategy is proposed:Improve the level of knowledge to provide a material basis for the formation of question awareness;strengthen thinking training to provide a cognitive basis for the formation of question awareness;improve the level of metacognitive monitoring to provide a driving force for the formation of question awareness.The fifth part: The teaching case and the trial effect evaluation of the cultivation students’ question awareness aim to facilitate practical application.The sixth part: Summaries the basic conclusions of the research content of this paper,at the same time,puts forward the shortcomings and prospects of the research.
